MNHS Brave Robotics Team Earns Top Spots in 2021 International SeaPerch Challenge

Manalapan High School’s Brave Robotics team stood out at the recent 2021 International SeaPerch Challenge. Brave Robotics ranked second in Engineering Design, fourth in Team Interview, and fifth in Real-World Innovation at the recent virtual competition.

According to its website, SeaPerch guides students on building an underwater robot while supplying educators with the tools and training to help them through the process.

The main objective for this year’s competition was to design a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that could collect garbage in waterways using various modifications that help increase the efficiency, speed, stability, and functionality of the ROV.
