11 CNHS Students Earn Spots at DECA International Career Development Conference this Spring

Colts Neck High School’s DECA group saw a successful weekend recently while competing at the New Jersey High School State Career Development Conference.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DECA is a competitive club that engages students in different fields of business.

At the competition’s completion, 11 students brought home awards that also earned them spots at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta this spring. 

Those students include:

  • Sabrina Smurro—1st place, integrated marketing campaign-product
  • Darren Milman—1st place, hotel and lodging management 
  • Abigail Polyanski - 4th place, hotel and lodging management 
  • Emma Aragona-4th place, sports and entertainment marketing
  • Isabella Kramsky & Rena Saraiya—2nd place, integrated marketing campaign-event
  • Christina Dowd & Ashley Jordan - state finalists, integrated marketing campaign-event 
  • Abigail Bellows - state finalist, buying and merchandising operations research event
  • Rhea Chatrath & Olivia Henein - state finalists, integrated marketing campaign-event
