MNHS Students Learn How to "Stop the Bleed"

Manalapan High School students in the Health Professions Pathway Program received "Stop the Bleed" training. The "Stop the Bleed" campaign aims to build national resilience by better preparing the public to save lives by raising awareness of basic actions to stop life-threatening bleeding following everyday emergencies and man-made and natural disasters.

Joe and Garry Falco of Vanguard Response trained Manalapan students on what to do if ever in a situation requiring these skills. The group learned how to pack a wound and properly use a tourniquet.
