FTHS Senior Selected to Represent NJ at the 2023 Global Youth Institute
Freehold Township High School's Brianna Pacailler has been selected as a student delegate for the 2023 Global Youth Institute being held in Des Moines, Iowa this fall. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will be held in conjunction with the World Food Prize Foundation’s Borlaug Dialogue, an international conference focused on global food security issues.
The Global Youth Institute (GYI) and Borlaug Dialogue will be focused on Harnessing Change, with six key themes centered around resilience, regeneration, innovation, nourishment, empowerment, and mobilization. During GYI, Brianna, a senior in the Animal & Botanical Sciences Magnet Program will present her research before a roundtable of international experts, participate in an interactive group project focused on global food security challenges, and attend content sessions to learn from leaders on issues related to food security, agriculture, and sustainability.
Brianna will also have the opportunity to interact with World Food Prize Foundation youth program alumni, World Food Prize laureates, heads of state, ministers of agriculture, researchers, and humanitarian leaders from around the world.
