MRHS Students Organize TEDxMarlboroHighSchool
Senior Jacob Zhang and some of his fellow Business Administration Magnet Program students had a plan. They wanted to bring TEDx to Marlboro High School. After completing the application process to acquire a license to hold the event, Jacob was given approval from TEDx and got to work organizing a TEDx team and volunteers.
TEDxMarlboroHighSchool is an independently organized event that will explore ideas in the Marlboro and Freehold Regional communities. TEDx and its parent organization TED Conferences is thought of as the apex of public speaking. TEDxMarlboroHighSchool will give participants a platform on which they can share their ideas with their peers and promote thoughtful discussion about a broad variety on the topics of technological solutions, business innovations, and the humanities. The virtual event will take place on December 12, 2020 and has a dedicated theme of "Traditions of Past and Present."
