Colts Neck High School edged out Mainland Regional High School to win the 37th Annual Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition. As the state winners, Colts Neck’s team will represent New Jersey at the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Athens, Georgia this May.
The New Jersey State Bar Foundation sponsors the mock trial competition each year. This year, New Jersey Supreme Court Chief Justice Stuart Rabner and Superior Court Judge Marilyn C. Clark presided over the final round. Colts Neck’s team included the following students who had various roles in the mock trial:
