Students in MRHS DECA Earn Five Spots at National Event

Marlboro High School’s DECA Chapter recently participated at the New Jersey DECA High School State Career Development Conference in Atlantic City. At the state conference, five of Marlboro’s students qualified for the International Career Development Conference in Orlando.

The Marlboro chapter brought home several honors including:

Hotel and Lodging Management

Nathan Lin - finalist

 

Business Services Marketing

Sachin Kurapati - finalist

 

Retail Merchandising

Jacob Zhang - 6th and qualified for the International Career Development Conference

 

Accounting

Matthew Goodman - 1st and qualified for the International Career Development Conference

Hailey Steinberg - 2nd and qualified for the International Career Development Conference

Rahul Rana - finalist

N.D. - finalist

 

Sports and Entertainment Marketing

JT Silver - finalist

 

Travel and Tourism Team Decision Making

Rachel Lustig - 6th and qualified for the International Career Development Conference

Soorya Das - 6th and qualified for the International Career Development Conference

 

In addition, Marlboro’s group had 16 students earn the Certified Guest Service Professional designation from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute. Those students include:
