MRHS Students Bring Home Gold at FCCLA State Leadership Conference
Marlboro High School students shined at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference held at the end of March.
Sophomores Insha Chhabra, Jacob Beal and J.B. were gold medal winners in the team event. Senior Zach Yabko received a gold medal in an individual event. Sophomores Alyssa Schaumloffel and Naomi Golan were awarded the bronze medal for a team event.
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education. FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life -- planning, goal setting, problem-solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication -- necessary in the home and workplace.
