FHS Junior Creates a New App Game Available for Download on iOS

Daniel Cutaneo Daniel Cutaneo, a junior at Freehold High School, has spent the last several months creating “Ball Run!” an endless game that is easy to learn, yet hard to master! The goal is to swipe your finger up or down to make the ball jump or dodge the walls coming forward. It is an easy game to learn, but extremely difficult to master, as the room for error is very small. Intense focus is required to get a high score.

Daniel recently shared that he has spent countless hours since December creating this app. The app was built entirely from the ground up with over 1,200 individual lines of code. It required Daniel to learn an entirely new and different programming language named “Swift.” Within the first week of launching the game, it had more than 700 downloads from across the world. The app is currently available for download free on iOS with a five-star rating. Android support is coming in the near future. The app allows players to see other users’ high scores and compete with them.
