Senator Jennifer Beck and Crew of “Meet the Leaders” Visits FTHS
State Senator Jennifer Beck recently visited students at Freehold Township High School, along with the crew of “Meet the Leaders.”
According to its website, “Meet the Leaders” is an interview-style program that connects viewers to their local leaders through insightful discussions on a wide variety of issues. “Meet the Leaders at School” takes the program out of the studio and into the classroom, offering high schools students the unique opportunity to engage in dialogue with community leaders on important topics.
Students in the International Baccalaureate Program, the Global Studies Learning Center and in AP Government classes were invited to watch the session and pose questions to the senator. Students asked questions about Senator Beck’s background, her legislative district, and voting record.
