MNHS Wishing Well Club Recognized by Township Committee

Members of the Wishing Well club at Manalapan High School were recently recognized by the Manalapan Township Committee for their fundraising efforts. Wishing Well, advised by teachers Christina Fontana and Thomas Hanlon, is a philanthropic club that raises money for Fulfill food banks in Monmouth and Ocean Counties through various fundraisers and community events.

According to Ms. Fontana, the total amount the group raised last school year with the fundraisers and donations was $3,283. The most successful of their fundraisers was a Krispy Kreme donut fundraiser, which raised just over $1,500.

At the Committee meeting, Mayor Susan Cohen and the rest of the committee presented members of the club with Certificates of Recognition for all their hard work.
