FTHS Junior Receives Honorable Mention in Congressional Art Competition

Freehold Township High School junior Jake Visco received an Honorable Mention for his pastel artwork titled “Still Life” in the 2022 Fourth Congressional District Art Competition. Artwork from the 2022 Fourth Congressional District Art Competition winners is now on display at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.

The congressional art contest recognizes and fosters artistic talent in the local community and had a record-setting 102 submissions by students from Rep. Chris Smith's (NJ-4) district.

“All of the artists who participated in this year’s competition deserve our deepest respect, praise, and gratitude. Thank you for pouring yourselves into your work and for creating such treasures," said Smith. “Special thanks to our judges—artists and experts—Debbie, Jim, and Rich for studying and analyzing each piece of art and to RJW Hamilton President Richard Freeman and his staff for hosting another great show."
