MRHS Teams Advance to Nationals of the Euro Challenge
Two teams of students in the Business Administration Magnet Program at Marlboro High School advanced to the national round of the Euro Challenge in New York City.
The Euro Challenge competition includes research and presentations on European economic and monetary policy and informs participants about the euro, the single market, and other concepts central to the European Union and macro/microeconomics.
The winning teams competed at Pinebridge Investments and Wells Fargo Corporate offices. The Euro competition presentations included speaker Bruce Kasman, chief economist and head of global economic research at JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Stavros Lambrinidis, Ambassador of the European Union to the United States.
The students who advanced to the national round are Sarah Gold, Eden Aulov, Madison Barnes, Nicolas Mannarino, Sean Gelman, April Le Perla, Sean Vardal, Sasha Root, Sophia Disla, and Mason Alexander, with alternates Kerem Dulger and Shrika Dogiparthi. The groups' advisors are teachers Nicole Bendik and Patrick Scinto.
