MRHS Senior Selected for Monmouth County Curriculum Consortium Scholarship
Marlboro High School senior Bianca Nicolescu was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Monmouth County Curriculum Consortium. Five students were selected based on their application and essay scores.
This year’s applicants wrote an essay on what they think the pandemic means for education in the longer term and how it could shape its future.
According to its website, the Monmouth County Curriculum Consortium (MC3) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to sharing ideas and resources to improve learning and leadership in our schools. Founded in 2009, MC3 has expanded beyond Monmouth County to include over 60 districts in central New Jersey.
