MRHS Students’ Paper Published in Inaugural Issue of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s “Journal of Future Economists”

A group of students in the Business Administration Magnet Program at Marlboro High School will soon have their research paper published in the inaugural issue of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Journal of Future Economists.

Students Jaime Scimone, Erin Brandwein, Sidharth Nandiwada, Mehrish Khan, Vasu Raval, and Zain Sohail competed in the 2021 Federal Reserve Bank of New York's High School Fed Challenge.  During this competition, the group wrote a research paper on, "The Stock Markets Role in Economic Inequality," and won a prize.  

According to its website, “the High School Fed Challenge offers the opportunity for students to develop skills in teamwork, research, data literacy, and analytical writing. Student teams author economics research papers and pursue recognition in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Journal of Future Economists.”
