MRHS Junior elected Lieutenant Governor of Division 10 in the New Jersey District of Key Club International

Kaitlyn Lee Marlboro High School's Kaitlyn Lee was recently elected Lieutenant Governor of Division 10 in the New Jersey District of Key Club International.

The junior's responsibilities in the position will include serving as a liaison between the District Board and local Key Clubs. Kaitlyn oversees and actively communicates with the Key Clubs of Marlboro, Colts Neck, Holmdel, Saint John Vianney, Matawan, Raritan, and Keyport. She hopes to charter new clubs in the Freehold Regional High School District during her term for the 2020-2021 service year.

According to its website, Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. High school student members of Key Club perform acts of service in their communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing and organizing food drives. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.
