Mr. Michael Dillon
Mr. Dillon began serving as the principal of Manalapan High School in July 2021. As principal, Mr. Dillon leads and supports the instructional, counseling, extracurricular, and operational programs that enable our students to be tomorrow’s leaders. He is committed to enhancing opportunities for ALL so that students develop a meaningful post-secondary pathway. As a strong proponent of student involvement, Mr. Dillon encourages every student to lead “the Brave way” by exploring and connecting to the variety of clubs, athletics, and service opportunities available at Manalapan.
Born and raised in Manalapan, Mr. Dillon began his career as a special education teacher after earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Education at Rutgers University. While teaching in Monmouth County, Mr. Dillon attended The College of New Jersey for Educational Leadership and Administration. As a lifelong learner committed to ensuring successful student outcomes, Mr. Dillon has served in the role of paraprofessional, teacher, supervisor, assistant principal, and director. Mr. Dillon has spent the last seven years of his educational journey in the Freehold Regional High School District as Assistant Principal at Manalapan High School and the Director of Guidance and Operations for the District.
Mr. Dillon and his wife, Sarah, have one son and proudly reside within the Freehold Regional High School District.
