ESEA Title I, Title II, Title III, Title III Immigrant, Title IV

The Title I, Part A program provides federal supplemental funds of over $14 billion for students in schools across the nation with concentrations of low-income students. In FRHSD, Colts Neck High School, Freehold High School, and Freehold Township High School receive federal funding.

Title II, Part A provides federal funding to provide resources for improving teacher and principal quality, thereby raising student achievement in the academic subjects.

Title III and Title III immigrant funding provide federal funds for language instruction for Limited English Proficient students. The district’s English as a Second Language (ESL) program is housed at Colts Neck High School.

Title IV, Part A authorizes activities in three broad areas: 1) Providing students with a well-rounded education, 2) Supporting safe and healthy students, and 3) Supporting the effective use of classroom technology.
