CREDIT RECOVERY RUNS FROM JULY 1 TO AUGUST 9, 2019.

The Freehold Regional High School District offers a credit recovery program to eligible in- and out-of-district students. Please read our Credit Recovery FAQ sheet. before completing your registration.

Based on student enrollment, we will offer 60-hour credit recovery courses in English 1-4, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, World History, and U.S. History 1 & 2. Students may register for one or two courses. Requests for placement in one session or the other cannot be honored. Every attempt is made to maintain and balance class sizes to ensure low student-to-teacher ratios. In addition, some courses are only available during one session.

The district will administer the Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2 NJSLA-M to all Credit Recovery mathematics students in August. The high school graduation assessment requirement is currently under partial reconsideration in the NJ judicial system for the Class of 2020. We expect formal guidance in late winter/spring 2019 from the New Jersey Department of Education. As this guidance becomes available to school districts, we will advise parents and students of any change in the high school graduation assessment requirement for the Classes of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Tuition for non-FRHSD students who reside in the FRHSD's geographic boundaries is $450 per course. Tuition for non-FRHSD students who live outside our geographic boundaries is $600 per course.

State regulations recognize that households of certain sizes, and with annual incomes at or near federal poverty limits, qualify for reduced credit recovery fees. Please see Federal Poverty Guidelines for instructions on determining if your household qualifies, and for claiming any resulting reduction. These reductions are only available to students who reside within the FRHSD geographic boundaries.

The program will take place at Colts Neck High School (59 Five Points Road, Colts Neck, New Jersey, 07722), and will run on weekdays from Monday, July 1, 2019 to Friday, August 9, 2019 in two daily sessions: 8:00 AM - 10:15 AM, and 10:00 AM- 12:45 PM. School will be closed on July 4 and 5. Daily attendance is absolutely necessary for students to fulfill the state's 60-hour credit recovery requirement. Any absences will result in loss of credit. If you are planning a vacation during the summer, you should seek out other providers. Speak to your Guidance Counselor to explore these options.

Free transportation to and from Colts Neck High School will be available at our other five schools for both daily sessions. Buses leave the five schools at 7:40 AM for Session 1 and 10:00 AM for Session 2. Door-to-door transportation is NOT available. Alternatively, parents may drop their children off at Colts Neck High School. Students may also drive themselves.

To register for our summer program, read the FAQ sheet above and complete the form below. Once we have determined your child's eligibility, we will email you a payment invoice. Parents may pay via certified check or money order.

Registration Deadline: June 25, 11:59 PM. Registrations received after that date will be put on a wait list. You will be contacted if a seat is available.

Payment is due by June 26, 2019.
