Message from the Superintendent

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 academic school year!

The Freehold Regional High School District is a premier school district that seeks to create opportunities for each student to experience a sense of belonging, find their passion, and grow academically. The District prioritizes positive relationship building and student engagement to ensure learning and academic growth. The core work focuses on developing confident learners and productive members of society who are prepared for their chosen pathway after high school.

The Student-Family Handbook is a guide to our district’s practices, guidelines, and procedures. This Handbook is reviewed annually by a committee of administrators representing our six high schools.  The committee evaluates existing policies, updates them as needed, and ensures that expectations are clearly communicated to the students. Please take the time to familiarize yourself and your child(ren) with the FRHSD Handbook. Student compliance with these expectations ensures a positive school climate that is conducive to learning. Also, the district policies and regulations are available on our District website.

I sincerely thank you for your support and commitment to your child(ren)’s education. Best wishes for an exciting and rewarding school year!

Warmest regards,

Dr. Nicole P. Hazel
Superintendent of Schools
