Facilities

The devastating state aid funding cuts under Senate Bill 2 caused seven years' worth of facility improvements to be put on hold.  The Freehold Regional High School District recently evaluated facilities and prioritized projects to ensure our buildings remain safe, modern, and equipped to support a high-quality educational experience.  We are proud to share a glimpse of the facility improvements throughout our district.  

Recent Facility Projects

The historic auditorium at Freehold High School was refurbished.

The auditorium stage floor at Freehold Township High School was replaced.

The outdoor marquee at Colts Neck High School was replaced.

The Main Gym Roof was replaced at Marlboro High School.

The front entrance and parking area was repaved with new curbing and sidewalks at Howell High School.

Manalapan High School redesigned and renovated a Technology Lab.

The outdoor marquee at Freehold High School was replaced.

The concrete walkways at the rear of Freehold Township High School were replaced. 

A new security window was installed at Colts Neck High School, enhancing visibility. 

The Senior/Athletic parking lot at Manalapan High School was repaved and striped.

The Main Gymnasium floor (original to the school) at Freehold Township High School was replaced.  

The flooring in the Media Center at Howell High School was replaced. 

The baseball backstop at Freehold High School was replaced with a domed structure to contain foul balls from neighboring properties.

The courtyard at Manalapan High School was enhanced with pavers, seating and graphics.

Two boilers were replaced at Freehold Township High School after 25 years of service.

All schools received security enhancements including upgraded access controls, security vestibules and monitoring systems.
