MNHS Takes Second Place in Math Competition
On November 22, 2014, a team of students from Manalapan High School competed in the Joseph W. Andrushkiw Mathematics Competition. This annual mathematics problem-solving competition for New Jersey high school students is sponsored and hosted by the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Seton Hall University.
Manalapan’s team finished in second place overall, and Rishi Bommasani had the highest score for Manalapan High School. The other top scoring team members also included Ayush Mittal, Abhimanyu Choudhary, Reimond Costa, Thomas Marshall, and Thomas Colen. The team’s advisors were teachers Mrs. McKeon and Mrs. Friedman.
“The entire school community is extremely proud of these students and their teachers for representing Manalapan High School so well in this extremely competitive academic competition,” said Principal Dr. Adam L. Angelozzi.
