HHS Students Bring Home Awards at TSA State Conference
Students in Howell High School’s Technology Student Association (TSA) brought home several awards from the New Jersey TSA State Conference held on April 16th at The College of New Jersey. Twelve of Howell’s students have qualified to attend the TSA National Conference this summer.
Competing against 56 other high schools in New Jersey, Howell’s impressive results included two first place, one second place and three third place trophies.
Achievement Awards, which are awarded for excellence in school and community service, leadership, career and personal planning and technological literacy, were presented to several students.
Senior Marissa Dolch and Meghan Moir were inducted into the National TSA Honor Society.

1st Place Future Technology Teacher – senior Marissa Dolch
2nd Place Biomimicry Design - sophomores Anjali Bryan, Kayla Devosa, Lauren Melendez, Pareena Patel and Danielle Russo
3rd Place Animatronics - juniors Rob Snyder and Nico Lorenzo
3rd Place Career Preparation - Meghan Moir
3rd Place Promotional Graphics - Cory Fink
TSA is devoted to the needs of technology students. As a member of TSA, one has the opportunity to run for an elected office, assist in a community project, explore career choices, receive recognition and prestige through local, state, and national competitions, as well as expand their knowledge of technology in today's world.

Sophomore Meghan Moir and freshman Sidhu Arakkal earned a Bronze award, a NJ-TSA State Silver and National Gold Achievement Award.
