Howell High School Calendar Events

In order to apply for a high school parking permit for the senior year, 11th grade students and their parents must attend the FRHSD Driver Safety Program. The student program will take place during the school day. The parent program will take place at the school at 6:30 PM. Parents should arrive by 6:15 PM in order to secure a parking spot for the evening's program. Students are not required to attend the parent program.

Applications for a parking permit will be considered incomplete without the attachment of a Certificate of Driver Safety Awareness Completion, which parents will sign at the evening program. Parents must bring a photo ID.

Parents who are unable attend the Parent Awareness Program scheduled at their child’s school may attend a parent training session at a different FRHSD high school. All parents attending a Parent Awareness Program will receive a Driver Safety Awareness Certificate of Completion.

Students will follow an early dismissal schedule at Howell and Manalapan High Schools, only, in order to facilitate a staff professional development program.

All students must ride to the venue via the busses provide.
Busses will leave Howell High School at 5:00 pm and return at approximately 12:30 am.

Boarding Time:  7:00 pm in Perth Amboy

Sailing Time:  7:30 pm

Congratulations to the Class of 2010! Commencement ceremonies will begin at 6:00PM at each school. Visit each school web site or contact each school for more information.

All FRHSD schools will be closed.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Education will be held on Monday, September 13, at 7:00 PM at the Administration Building.

In the event it is necessary to evacuate the building, an outdoor emergency safety drill has been planned at Howell High School for September 23, 2010 rain date of September 28, 2010.

Board of Education Meeting at Colts Neck High School - the meeting will begin at 7:00 PM, at which time the Board will motion to convene into closed executive session. The regular meeting will resume at 8:00 PM.

8th graders in our region (and their parents) are invited to attend this information session on our learning center / academy programs. Online applications open on October 1st. This open house program will take place at Manalapan High School.
