Superstorm Sandy Anniversary: MRHS Reflects on Extraordinary Student & Staff Volunteerism
The Marlboro High School (MRHS) released never before seen footage of an extraordinary act of volunteerism by MRHS students and staff who raised nearly $12,000 to help families displaced by Superstorm Sandy nearly a year ago. Last year, the MRHS Superstorm Sandy Relief Committee exceeded their goal and substantially helped those hardest hit by the storm by making such an enormous donation to Waves for Water. Waves for Water is a non-profit organization that provides impoverished countries with access to clean water. After Superstorm Sandy, Waves for Water initiated relief efforts to help families impacted by Superstorm Sandy in the states of New Jersey and New York.
After an entire year, students and staff members are still actively engaged in various relief efforts as the struggle to rebuild continues. Witness the outstanding spirit of volunteerism of the magnificent Marlboro High School Mustangs here!
