HHS Student Wins High School Presidential Inaugural Conference T-Shirt Design Contest
The Freehold Regional High School District and the Howell High School (HHS) is pleased to announce that HHS student Cameron Ayesh is the winner of the 2012 High School Presidential Inaugural Conference T-shirt Design Contest! Cameron is currently a ninth grade student at the Howell High School. As winner of the contest, Cameron's shirt is being produced and sold in the Presidential Inaugural Conference online store, and he will receive exclusive access during the Inaugural Conference scheduled for January 19, 2013 through January 23, 2013.
"I am really excited to go to Washington, D.C. and meet President Barack Obama," shared Cameron when asked about his sentiments regarding the award. Cameron was one of four finalists in the competition, triumphing with an undisclosed amount of votes. "I didn't believe it at first. I mean I know he's smart and very good, but this is such a large scale competition that I was just stunned," shared Mrs. Lisa Ayesh.
Cameron's attendance at the Presidential Inaugural Conference will afford him the opportunity to participate in the 57th Presidential Inauguration of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. He will also attend special events and activities where he'll have the opportunity to meet former U.S. Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice and General Wesley Clark.
Cameron will also have the privilege to meet the National President of the College Democrats of America, Tori Taylor and National Chairman of the College Republican National Committee, Alex Schriver. He will enjoy musical performances by The Capitol Steps which is a famous group of congressional staffers based out of Washington, D.C. In addition, Cameron will get an up close and personal opportunity to explore the presidency and presidential campaigns.
