FRHSD Celebrates Opening Day: District Honors Teachers of the Year
“What will you do to be great this school year?” Talk about pop quiz! This was the question asked of every faculty and staff member of the Freehold Regional High School District as Superintendent Charles Sampson gave his Opening Day Address at the Freehold Township High School on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Sampson addressed an auditorium of nearly 1,000 eager faculty and staff members and welcomed everyone back to an exciting new school year. Highlighted in his address were important milestones including significant progress on collective bargaining unit contracts, state-wide advanced placement accolades, completion of the strategic plan known as “Compass”, capital improvement plans, test scores, and much more.
