Sibling Rule Waiver Form - School Year 2013-2014

Board of Education Policy 8110 provides for an exception to attendance areas when a rising 9th grader has one or more siblings attending a different district school as a result of learning center/academy placement, changes in attendance area boundaries, or other situations. Parents may apply for the rising 9th grade student to attend the same school as his/her sibling, provided that the sibling will still be in attendance during the applicant student's 9th grade year.

In order to be considered for this exception, a parent/guardian must complete and submit the sibling waiver application form below by March 15. The sibling waiver will only be granted for incoming freshmen. Sibling waiver requests will not be approved for those students whose siblings have graduated or will be graduating in June. The parent will receive written approval or reason for denial from the Director of Guidance and Operations in May.
