The Board of Education recognized the 2014 Support Staff Employee of the Year from each high school during the September 15th meeting.
Marlboro High School was ranked at 46 in the nation by Newsweek. Colts Neck High School ranked 166, Freehold Township High School ranked 467 and Manalapan High School ranked 469.
Schools within the Freehold Regional High School District have been receiving honors leading up to the start of the school year, earning distinction on New Jersey Monthly’s Top NJ High Schools 2014 list and being named to The Daily Beast list of the top schools in America.
Something wonderful is cooking over at Freehold High School. The school’s Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management Academy was featured in National Geographic for its unique comprehensive program.
The Freehold Regional High School District held the 2014-2015 Opening Day Convocation at Freehold Township High School on September 2, 2014. Approximately 1,000 new and returning faculty, staff, and administrators were welcomed back by Superintendent Charles Sampson. The Freehold Regional High School District was heartbroken to hear of the tragic accident which occurred Aug. 19 on Kozloski Road involving residents of our communities. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victims’ families during this difficult time.

Freehold Township High School's chapter of SADD, Students Against Destructive Decisions, has been awarded the DCH Auto Group Teen Driver Safety Foundation's distinction of East Coast SADD Chapter of the Year.
On May 21st, the Howell High School Drama Club had the honor of attending the Basie awards at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. Nominated for a record 18 awards, the Drama Club brought home 5 trophies.
