Manalapan High School Awarded $10,000 Grant

Focusing on STEM education, Manalapan High School was awarded a $10,000 grant from the OceanFirst Foundation as a part of the Model Classroom Grant Program.

Parent-Teacher Conferences - Thursday, October 16, 2014 - 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

We will be conducting our Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences Night on the evening of Thursday, October 16, 2014 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. You will have an opportunity to discuss the individual progress and achievement of your child with his/her teachers and/or guidance counselor at this time.

The Board of Education recognized the 2014 Support Staff Employee of the Year from each high school during the September 15th meeting.

Four FRHSD Schools Make Top Schools in America List by Newsweek

Marlboro High School was ranked at 46 in the nation by Newsweek. Colts Neck High School ranked 166, Freehold Township High School ranked 467 and Manalapan High School ranked 469.

Freehold Regional High School District Honored on Top School Lists

Schools within the Freehold Regional High School District have been receiving honors leading up to the start of the school year, earning distinction on New Jersey Monthly’s Top NJ High Schools 2014 list and being named to The Daily Beast list of the top schools in America.

Yearbook Pictures

Yearbook pictures for underclassmen will be taken on Friday, Sept.12. Price list envelopes have been distributed through homeroom. Additional envelopes are in the main office. Remember, all envelopes must be submitted to the photographer on picture day.

Kenneth Luo Wins Prestigious Merck Science Award

After winning the Merck Science Award in chemistry as a sophomore, Kenneth Luo has won the Merck Science Award for Physics. Kenneth had the fourth highest score in New Jersey on the highly competitive physics exam.

UGotBrains Grand Prize winner

Naomi Siegel Wins APP Student Voices Essay Contest

Naomi Siegel, a junior at Manalapan High School, won the Asbury Park Press Student Voices Essay Contest. Naomi’s essay titled "Stroll with Mother Brought out the Sun" was recognized as the monthly winner for this essay contest in October, 2013.

Destructive Decisions (SADD) recently won a cash reward for succeeding in the 2014 Central
Jersey High School Traffic Safety Challenge.  

National Honor Society Tutoring

Members of the National Honor Society are available for after school tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday in the Media Center. Late buses depart from the school at 4pm for any student needing transportation home. (Please see attached list for the PM Activity Bus stops.)
